Feeling What Movers Feel
One of my close friends Paul had moved out just a month ago. His parents bought a house in Virginia and they had it remodeled as well. I was there when the movers in VA were loading their furniture on their truck and waved him goodbye. My family had done the same in the past and I know that he will fare well in their new location as well. As their moving truck came out of view, I sat and reminisced the past a little. It is funny how you can easily understand what others feel, if you experienced the same yourself.
It was 5 years ago when the moving companies SC truck unloaded our things in our current home. Paul was one of the kids in the neighborhood, who was curious on whom their new neighbors will be. He was short back then and who would have thought that he would grow taller than me in just 5 years. I silently prayed in my heart that he will find their new neighborhood to their liking. Just like the way I did, when I arrived a few years ago.
